Social Media: New eye-tracking studies reveal that greater color complexity in social media ads tend to be more effective at grabbing the viewer’s attention, particularly when viewed later in the day and when the images take up more screen space.

YouTube:  On Tuesday, YouTube added new features to its mobile, web, and TV apps, including granular controls for playback speeds, a redesigned mini-player, and collaborative playlists. YouTube is also adding badges in order to give content creators a new way to engage with their community.

PPC: Google has updated its Google Ads policy to add new penalties for third parties such as PPC agencies, “that enable significant or sustained policy violations.” These new penalties include removal from programs, such as Google Partners, “loss of privileges” and account suspension.
