Social Media:  Democrats will open the door for social media influencers to cover their political convention in Chicago this summer ahead of the U.S. presidential election, a first for the party as it seeks to connect with voters beyond the reach of traditional media.

Television:  A movement is growing in Congress to ban pharmaceutical advertising from television as well as social media. Direct-to-consumer pharmaceutical advertising is already banned in all other countries except for the U.S. and New Zealand.

Radio: Just in time for a busy political season, a new study from Nielsen shows that audio advertising is more engaging than digital or video, and that adding radio to a media mix resulted in a 23% lift in reaching so-called unaffiliated/swing voters. Source: Radio Ink
