Social Media: Two of marketers favorite tools, social media and AI, may be combining in the form of an OpenAI social media network, reportedly in its early stages.  This could put the company in direct competition with Facebook-owner Meta, which is developing a standalone Meta AI service.

Radio:  As many sectors of the American economy struggle with the impact of historically high tariffs, one industry says they’re seeing a rise in business. Radio and podcast advertising have seen a bit of a boom in recent weeks, especially in the days after President Trump announced a pause on higher tariff measures.

Programmatic: Spotify announced Gen AI ads, among other changes to its advertising business, at a recent event. Notably, the company introduced a new programmatic offering, the Spotify Ad Exchange (SAX), which allows advertisers to reach Spotify’s logged-in users via real-time auctions.
