Social Media:
A new report from TikTok looks at data from a range of major brands to ascertain how different ad approaches contribute to sales. The report is based on “econometric analysis” which isolates TikTok’s incremental contribution to sales, separate from other marketing activities.

Television: Nielsen will launch a pilot program leveraging a new methodology enhancement to account more accurately for co-viewing, beginning with Super Bowl LX on NBC. The program will use Nielsen’s proprietary wearable measurement devices and better reflect total viewership for programming, especially live events.

AI: According to reports, OpenAI is informing advertisers who are interested in placing their promotions within ChatGPT responses that they’ll be required to commit at least $200k in spending up front to even be considered for the initial live launch.
