Elon Musk will bring back the defunct short-video platform Vine, this time with an AI twist that could transform how users create and share content online. Analysts see this as Musk’s play to make X a real threat to TikTok and Instagram Reels.

CTV: Morgan Stanley expects the U.S. CTV ad market to grow 13% a year through 2030 to $55.2 billion while the pay-TV ad market shrinks about 2% a year. YouTube is the market leader right now, but Morgan Stanley forecasts that Prime Video will knock it off its perch in 2027.

YouTube:  YouTube has announced the introduction of AI-based checks to determine the age of viewers. This doesn’t just mean blocking content. Personalized advertising will also be disabled for children, while older viewers will need to provide government-issued ID to confirm their age if the AI gets it wrong.
