Social Media: Meta Platforms is introducing Threads video ads, Reels trending placement and several other innovations for advertisers. Another new tech feature allows ads on Facebook Reels to generate unseen pixels in each video frame, automatically expanding the aspect ratio to make the creative more immersive.

OTT: Amazon on Monday said its Prime Video streaming service with ads reaches more than 130 million U.S. customers monthly on average, an increase of 15 million people from 2024. One VP said “Our ad formats are proven to drive measurable action on and off Amazon.”

Programmatic: ITN, a provider of a local linear supply side platform, and Magnite, an independent sell-side advertising company, have announced that they are working together to launch a programmatic solution for local linear TV, billed as a “first” for the U.S. market.
